Mayor Dana L. Redd announced that beginning May 1st, the City will recommence with a twice a week trash collection schedule continuing through to the end of September 2016.
Residents or businesses who have questions, want more information about their trash collection schedule, need to know which trash collection district they live in, or would like to pick-up a recycling bin should call the City Department of Public Works Hotline at 856-757-7034 or visit the City webpage at www.ci.camden.nj.us. Also, as required by the state “Electronics Waste Management Act”, electronic waste or e-waste items such as televisions, all personal or portable computers, computer monitors and other electronics cannot be disposed with regular trash. applications for various youth and adult summer employment positions for the 2016 Summer Recreation Program and the Summer Food Service Program. Depending on the available summer position, the temporary seasonal employment can pay between $8.50 – $15.00 per hour. |
